Ambassador represents Canada in opening match

Peter Michael Bohm, Canadian Ambassador to Germany, will represent the German opponents of the kick-off next Sunday in the opening match of the women's football World Cup.


Berlin (SID) - Peter Michael Bohm, Canadian Ambassador to Germany, will officially represent the German opponents of the kick-off in the opening match of the women's football World Cup next Sunday. "I will represent the Canadian Government with great joy and with my small Canadian flag", Boehm said the sports information service (SID): "I will include in the stadium while a minority, but I am already."
