Berlin (SID) - President Christian Wulff will take over the patronage of the women Festival "Discover football" from 27 June to 3 July in Berlin during the women's football World Cup in Germany (26 June to 17 July). The Festival, which takes place in the Willy-Kress man-Stadion, includes an international tournament with eight women's teams, as well as an accompanying cultural programme with concerts, films, public viewing of World Cup games and panel discussions.
The participating teams come from India, Brazil, Afghanistan, Rwanda, Togo, Cameroon, Berlin, Israel, Jordan, and the Palestine.
