Monchengladbach (SID) - Bundesliga Borussia Monchengladbach gave Marcel Meeuwis to his Dutch neighbors VVV Venlo. The midfielder moves on a free transfer to the honorary Divisionar, for which he already was active between 2002 and 2006. The contract of 30-year old in Gladbach ran until 2012, Meeuwis receives an indemnity from the Borussia.
In the only 30 kilometers away Venlo, Meeuwis receives a three-year contract. The Dutchman, who had come 2009 for €1.5 million from Roda JC for Gladbach was loaned to Feyenoord Rotterdam in the second half of last season.
