Lima (SID) - Peru's coach Sergio Markarian has appointed three strikers in the Bundesliga in the preliminary squad for the Copa America. With Bremen are Paolo Guerrero of Hamburger SV, Jefferson Farfan of Cup Schalke 04 and Claudio Pizarro of Werder. The nomination of 27-Jahrigen Guerrero stood until recently because of a knee injury on the brink. He was however completely recovered. "I feel very well", said the daily newspaper El Comercio of the strikers.
Pizarro was in March for the first time for over three years back in the squad for the South Americans. 2007, The Association had suspended the most successful foreign goal scorers in the Bundesliga after a game against Brazil (1: 1) because the striker to have celebrated too violently with some colleagues.
