The South Korean Football League has blocked ten players for illegal betting and manipulations for life.

Seoul (SID) - the South Korean Football League has blocked ten players for illegal betting and manipulations for life. "We have given all players the chance to meet and to express, but all have rejected this offer," said Qwak Byung-Cheol, Chairman of the Identification Commission.

The players are accused to have accepted bribes and made bets on the outcome of games in the K-League. In addition, a link between the scandal and the suicide of a player was produced in May.
