Frankfurt/Main (SID) - the ticket sales for the women World Cup in Germany (26 June to 17 July) is running at full speed. As reported by the Organizing Committee, the available cards quota with 620,000 tickets sold is already reached 70%. "These very encouraging sales vote me one month before World Cup kick off very optimistic that we will have really great scenes in all 32 games of the women's World Cup 2011", OK President Steffi Jones said.

Through a restructuring of the cards quotas and the finalization of the stadium plans, the total mass of the tickets in the free sale of 800,000 to 900,000 has also increased. "The good news for the fans is the realistic opportunity to be able to secure tickets for the most World Cup games again", said the world champion from 2003.

For the opening match between Germany and Canada on 26 June in the Berlin Olympic Stadium, 3000 cards available are therefore still 2000, for the final in Frankfurt am Main on 17 July. The additional quotas can from Thursday on the official website www.FIFA.com/deutschland2011 as well as be ordered via hotline on 01805 / 062011.
