In August 2009, the police in a RAID had discovered a large-scale professional cultivation of cannabis in an agricultural estate, which had rented Coutinho. His father has already received a two-year prison sentence for the same offences.
The Club Manager of ADO Den Haag explained that the process is no reason for its own sanctions of the Association. Otherwise, Coutinho will be twice punished at the end. The goalkeeper from the Netherlands Antilles was 2001 changed to the current table seventh of the Eredivisie from the Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven.
