The former Brazilian world footballer Paulo Roberto Falcao on the Manager's job will return to Porto Alegre (SID) - after 16 years as a TV commentator. The 57-year-old World Championship participant of 1982 and 1986 has the defending Libertadores Cup champion Internacional Porto Alegre Office of Celso Roth dismissed on Friday.
Falcao won the Brazilian championship three times in the 70's as a player with SC Internacional, and was then in five seasons with the Italian top Club AS Roma, winning the Scudetto in 1983 also to the idol. He started his coaching career after the World Cup early 1990 equal in the Brazilian national team.
There were stations at Club level in the CF America from Mexico (1991-1993) and his local club Internacional (1993), as well as a short engagement as coach of Japan (1994-1995). Last Falcao was engaged as a co-host in Brazil's mighty TV station Rede Globo.
