Scottish factor prevented a package bomb attack on the team manager and two prominent supporters of the 42-maligen football master Celtic Glasgow. A bomb addressed to Manager Neil Lennon, as well as a package that should be sent to the Attorney Paul McBride, were caught. A bomb was the former Parliament Speaker Patricia Godman, but did not explode.
The police suspected a religious background. The Catholic Lennon was often its denomination due to hostility, but not from the camp of Catholic Celtic FC, but from the Protestant dominated Commons of arch-rivals Rangers. Lennon resigned after receiving death threats from the Northern Ireland national football team as a player in 2002. Also at the time speculated about religious background.
"There is a large study," Prime Minister Alex Salmond confirmed on Tuesday evening. "We do everything to identify the people behind and arrest, they should be punished with full force." In the course of Wednesday, there will be a press conference with further information.
