Lagos (SID) - A former FIFA Executive Member Amos Adamu (Nigeria) waived an action before the international sports Tribunal CAS after his suspension by the world football association. The CAS confirmed the Nigerian newspaper next Wednesday, Adamu lodged not object to the time limit on 25 February against his three-year lock.
FIFA had considered 2018 and 2022 Adamu and Reynald Temarii (Tahiti) relating to possible manipulations in the run-up to the awarding of the FIFA from the market. The former Executive Member of Adamu was suspended for three years. A lock of one year was imposed on Temarii. Accused the two officials have offered their votes for the award of the World Cup.
The 2018 World Cup was awarded in early December of last year to Russia, for 2022 Qatar was awarded the contract.
