The "new" German U21 national team has passed the test for the arch-rival Netherlands.
Sittard (SID) - the "new" German U21 national team has passed the test for the arch-rival Netherlands. The rejuvenated selection of German coach Rainer Adrion won 3: 1 (1: 1) in the European champion from 2006 and 2007 after a strong performance on Friday evening in Sittard and remained unbeaten for the sixth time in a row. Seven months after the missed European Championship qualification, the German team continued its upward trend.
Debutant Pierre-Michel Lasogga of Hertha BSC Berlin (27), Sebastian Rudy (1899 Hoffenheim / 46.) and Captain Lewis Holtby from FSV Mainz 05 (65.) met for the strong German team. For the hosts, Genero Zeefuik (45) scored the interim balance just before the interval.
