Rome (SID) - A court of appeal in Rome has reduced the penalty for the former manager of Juventus Turin, involved in the manipulation scandal in Italian football on Thursday. Luciano Moggi was convicted 2006 proceedings after the World Cup in Germany of participation game manipulation to 18 months in prison, this penalty has been reduced now to 12 months. The punishment for his son Alessandro was reduced from 14 to five months.
Luciano and Alessandro Moggi were accused GEA as the owner of the player brokerage company to have threatened footballer.
